JD required, bar admission in WA or eligibility to sit for the next bar exam. Strong negotiation, drafting, and teamwork skills are essential to support startups and established clients on complex deals.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience with AI-native or AI-driven biotechnology companies is a plus.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Barred in the state of the office location or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.

Responsibilities

• Represent biotech and pharmaceutical clients in licensing patents and collaborations.
• Negotiate complex standalone commercial transactions.
• Work closely with founders developing cutting-edge technologies.
• Engage in transactions advancing therapeutics, vaccines, and diagnostics.
