Job summary

Chicago Public Media in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Manager of Leadership Giving to lead its midlevel donor program, mentor officers, and drive fundraising performance under the Director of Major and Planned Giving.

You will manage 700+ midlevel donors, coordinate communications, track progress, and collaborate across the Development team to strengthen donor pipelines and cultivate relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in annual giving and frontline fundraising.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategy and techniques.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategy for CPM’s midlevel program with the membership team.
• Oversee engagement of 700+ midlevel donors in the development pool.
• Coordinate communication calendar and cohesive donor journeys.
• Monitor program success and identify areas for improvement with leadership.
• Supervise Leadership Giving Officers, including onboarding and performance reviews.
• Track solicitation data and gift acknowledgments; support pipeline management.
• Collaborate on donor events and cultivation activities across CPM.
