Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior development professional to lead the engagement strategy for CPM’s midlevel program, working closely with the membership team to maximize major donor prospects. The role oversees the engagement of 700+ midlevel donors in the development pool and drives cohesive donor journeys across communications calendars.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in annual giving, frontline fundraising, development operations, and/or related field.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategy and techniques and ability to implement strategy.
• Goals and results-driven with ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to relate to donors, volunteers, and colleagues; tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategy for midlevel program with emphasis on major donor prospects.
• Oversee engagement of 700+ midlevel donors in the development pool.
• Coordinate communication calendar with membership team for cohesive donor journeys.
• Monitor program success and identify improvement areas in collaboration with leadership.
• Supervise and support Leadership Giving Officer(s), including onboarding and performance management.
• Conduct portfolio and moves management reviews to ensure timely donor engagement and stewardship.
• Set and track ambitious goals for direct report(s) to advance donor relationships.
• Update and track solicitation data and review gift acknowledgments.
• Track plans in the Development database for transparency and pipeline management.
• Participate in donor cultivation, engagement, and stewardship activities including events.
