Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Middleware Developer to design, build, and maintain the software infrastructure enabling seamless data flow between applications. You will install and configure middleware, create integrations, and troubleshoot issues to keep IT ecosystems reliable and scalable.

The role requires strong problem‑solving, clear communication, and hands‑on experience with middleware technologies such as GoAnywhere, Mulesoft, MQ, Rest APIs, and Apache Kafka.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with middleware development and integration.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies (GoAnywhere, Mulesoft, etc.) and architectures (MFT, MQ, Rest API, Apache Kafka).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell) and OS (Linux, Windows, IBM i).
• Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and API lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop middleware solutions for integration, connectivity, performance, and security.
• Build and maintain integrations between applications, systems, and databases.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain middleware software and resolve production issues.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and optimize middleware for reliability.
• Implement security measures and governance for APIs and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and collaborate with IT, business teams, and vendors.
