Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Middleware Developer in Phoenix, AZ to design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure enabling seamless data flow between applications. You will install and configure middleware, create integrations, troubleshoot issues, ensure security, and document designs and procedures.

The role requires experience with middleware technologies (GoAnywhere, Mulesoft, Apache Kafka), scripting (Python, Shell), and ITIL/DevOps practices, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent academic achievement or equivalent experience.
• Experience with middleware development.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies (GoAnywhere, Mulesoft, etc.) and architectures (MFT, MQ, Rest API, Apache Kafka).
• Proficiency in operating systems (Linux, Windows, IBM I) and scripting languages (Python, Shell).
• Knowledge in data transformation technologies.
• Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and API lifecycle management.
• Understanding of distributed computing concepts.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with data integration and data orchestration tools and related best-practices.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Job Summary

A Middleware Developer designs, develops, and maintains the software infrastructure that enables seamless communication and data flow between different applications and systems. Key responsibilities include installing and configuring middleware, developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues, implementing security, and creating technical documentation.
