Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise middleware and integration environments.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, MQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience performing RCA and resolving recurring production issues.
• Demonstrated problem management experience, including root cause and permanent resolution.
• Ability to coordinate across application, infrastructure, database, network, and middleware.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and application/server environments.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for enterprise middleware platforms and production applications
• Troubleshoot complex middleware and application issues and restore service when necessary
• Own and drive problem records from identification through root cause and permanent resolution
• Perform detailed RCA for recurring incidents and production failures
• Identify trends and recurring issues and develop plans to eliminate underlying causes
• Partner with application, infrastructure, database, network, and other engineering teams to resolve cross-platform problems
• Lead technical discussions around corrective and preventative actions
• Track remediation efforts and ensure action items are completed
• Support incident and change management activities as needed
• Document technical findings, known errors, workarounds, and permanent fixes
• Participate in production reviews and identify opportunities to improve system stability and reliability
• Communicate problem status, risks, root cause, and remediation plans to management and stakeholders

Project DetailsThe hiring team is looking for a technically strong Middleware Engineer who can support enterprise middleware platforms while also taking ownership of problem management activities. This person will investigate recurring production issues, perform root cause analysis, coordinate technical teams, and drive permanent fixes through resolution.

The ideal candidate is comfortable getting hands-on with middleware technologies and production troubleshooting, but can also operate across application, infrastructure, database, and network teams to manage complex problems from identification through closure.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience supportingenterprise middleware / application integration environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with middleware technologies such asWebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, MQ, Kafka, or similar platforms
