The Middle School Wrestling Head Coach at Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) oversees the entire program alongside the Athletic Director, including disciplining and mentoring student-athletes, scheduling, travel, and budget responsibilities.

The candidate must be a spiritually sensitive, born‑again Christian who can communicate effectively with students, families, and staff while upholding CAK's standards of conduct and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be a spiritually sensitive, born‑again Christian aligned with CAK's mission.
• Ability to communicate well with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
• Professional, courteous, and discreet handling of confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and coaching to develop student-athletes and create a coaching plan.
• Coordinate with high school and middle school staff to align goals.
• Develop individual and team skills through planned training and positive reinforcement.
• Communicate with students and parents about expectations, camps, practices, and schedules.
• Supervise athletes before/after practices and games; manage facilities.
• Attend all games and post-season events.
• Oversee equipment, uniforms, and travel logistics.
• Participate in professional development and coaches meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Wrestling Coach and Athletic Director.
