Responsibilities

Directly responsible for all matters relative to the wrestling program, including player personnel and practice sessions.
Enforce school, district, league and state association (MHSAA) rules and policies.
Communicate effectively with players, officials, fellow coaches, parents, administrators and community members.
Ensure the safety and welfare of the athletes during practice and games.
Respond to instructions and directions of the athletic director and district administrators.
Support activities to advance the district's coordinated athletic program.
Participate in CPR, concussion and first aid training.
Present a professional image and be a positive role model.
