Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the middle school or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their best.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily practice sessions to develop players’ skills and understanding of the game.
• Develop game strategies and prepare the team for competitions.
• Organize and manage team schedules, including practices, games, and tournaments.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of student-athletes, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and expectations.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Uphold school policies and regulations while promoting the values of Webberville Middle & High School.
• Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay current with coaching techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote overall athletic programs at the school.
