Pay Range: $21.10 - $26.29 - Hourly - Depending on Experience.

Job is: Classified Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours/week.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Provide tutoring and instruction to students within a small classroom environment and/or 1 on 1.
• Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule.
• Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with their supervisor.
• Provide support to the teachers as needed.
• Create a tracking system that indicates student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement.
• Have clear communication with teachers to support students who need additional support in the designated subject area.

You'll Need The Following Minimum Requirements:

• Proficient in 7th and 8th grade language arts, math, science, and social studies.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred.
• Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

OFY is a free non-profit public charter school serving students grades 7-12 who have fallen behind in school, are looking to get ahead and graduate early, or merely desire a non-traditional learning environment. OFY's founders, John and Joan Hall, started the program in 1987 to provide at-risk and underserved students an alternative to traditional learning methods.
