Job summary

Requirements include Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization, strong communication, and leadership experience. A CDL, First Aid/CPR, and knowledge of conference rules are desirable.

Qualifications

• 2. Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• 3. Coaching and/or leadership experience
• 4. First Aid and CPR (desired)
• 5. Knowledge of conference rules and regulations (desired)
• 6. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (desired)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the operation of the athletic program.
• Coach and instruct players regarding rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques as determined by the head coach.
• Monitor academic performance to ensure eligibility as determined by the Head Coach.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with team prospects and athlete recruitment.
• Maintain equipment inventory and related duties for the Head Coach.
