Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• AED certificate required for Physical Education teachers or as specified.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and document preparation.
• Accommodate differences in student learning styles and differences in instruction.
• Utilize appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and technology per TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning styles and adapt activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with colleagues and supervise instructional aides/volunteers.
