Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License.
• Endorsement in Swahili or Arabic (06A) or eligible for Vermont Provisional License.
• Ability to teach World Language Exploratory sections.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level.
• Differentiation of instruction aligned with standards and formative assessments.
• Understanding of Cultural Competency and behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and a variety of instructional materials.
• Develop tests and assessments aligned with standards and monitor progress.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and EST/Special Educators to meet diverse learner needs.
• Attend in-service days, staff meetings, and uphold school-community relations.
• Maintain safe, respectful learning environments and report incidents as required.
