The ideal candidate holds a State-issued Special Education teaching certification, a Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education, and at least 1 year of middle school experience. Collaboration with teachers and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent.
• State-issued Special Education Teacher certification/license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a school setting with a focus on middle school students.
• Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, patience, and teamwork skills.
• Background check required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist students physically.

Responsabilités

• Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to middle school students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and parents to support student success.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
