Responsibilities

• Teach students specific skills and strategies to access curriculum.
• Conduct IEP meetings and complete related paperwork.
• Monitor student progress; revise IEP as needed.
• Co-teach in regular education or teach a substantially separate class.
• Prepare students for post-high school transitions.
• Communicate with school personnel and parents.
• Attend departmental and school-wide meetings.
• Maintain punctual attendance.
• Implement other job-related duties as needed.
