ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for middle school students in the Easley/Powdersville area. This full-time contract role runs 8:00 AM–3:30 PM and starts September 8, 2026, offering structured hours to plan, collaborate, and deliver IEP-based instruction.

The ideal candidate holds SC certification in Special Education (or eligibility) and demonstrates strong classroom management, communication, and a commitment to inclusive education for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in South Carolina (or eligibility).
• Previous middle school teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions as outlined in each student's IEP.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all students on your caseload.
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture where all learners feel valued and supported.
• Regularly communicate with parents and guardians to share progress and concerns.
