Job summary

Paw Paw Public Schools is seeking a full-time Special Education Instructional Paraprofessional to assist students with classroom instruction and provide support for special education students. The ideal candidate will work closely with individual or small groups, helping with academic and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and successful completion of specific assessments. Starting pay is $16.46 per hour, following the PPESPA Agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• ETS Parapro Assessment passing score of 460 or higher.
• WorkKeys Assessment passing score required.
• MTTC passing grade in subject area(s) required.
• CPI Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual or small groups of students.
• Support special education students academically and behaviorally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
