Position Overview

Location: Paw Paw Early Elementary (Grades Young 5's-2nd Grade)

Reports to: Early Elementary Principal

Job Type: Full-Time/Hourly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Associate Degree, or
• Completed ETS Parapro Assessment with a passing score of 460 or higher, or
• Completed WorkKeys Assessment with a passing score, or
• Completed Michigan Tests for Teacher Certification (MTTC) with a passing grade in relevant subject area(s)
• CPI Certification (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Job Description

• Supporting special education student(s) with academic/behavioral supports throughout the day, including de‑escalation strategies
• Transitioning students from our special education program back into a general education setting, could be one on one

Salary/Benefits

Starting at $16.46 per hour commensurate with experience, and benefits per the PPESPA contract.
