Job description

The Middle School Spanish Teacher

will work with a dynamic team of educators at a unique character education charter school in Crystal, MN. Our Character Education school helps mold students into future leaders.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach Levels II & III Spanish and a Heritage Class.
2. Implement a TPRS curriculum and activities to meet the academic standards.
3. Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
4. Guide students to higher character and develop their full potential as young leaders.
5. Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
6. Be accountable for students' achievement of academic standards.
7. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
8. Effectively implement Responsive Classroom techniques.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills; and the ability to identify learning challenges, analyze, process, and make judgments with the sensitivity that is necessary to lead and coordinate programs for students.
