4th & 5th Grade Spanish Teacher, Beacon Academy

The 4th & 5th grade Spanish teacher will work with two wonderful teams of educators at a unique character education charter school in Crystal, MN. Our Character Education school helps mold students into future leaders.

Responsibilities:

Teach general Spanish to three 4th grade classes and three 5th grade classes. The Teacher will implement a TPRS curriculum and activities to meet the academic standards, use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices, guide students to higher character and develop their full potential as young leaders, participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions, be accountable for students' achievement of academic standards, communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues, and effectively implement Responsive Classroom techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Teaching License preferred – will work with short call sub license candidates.
