Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred).
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative and engaging instructional style with a genuine passion for teaching.
• Collaborative team player with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach Social Studies to grades 6–8 with two sections per grade level.
• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Integrate literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving into Social Studies.
• Establish a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and content areas.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, curriculum planning and events.
