The Illinois Association of School Administrators invites a dedicated middle school social studies teacher to deliver engaging instruction aligned with Illinois Learning Standards. You will plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons, maintain the gradebook, and collaborate with grade-level teams to support student achievement.

• Evidence of meeting ISBE standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct instruction to middle school social studies students.
• Develop lesson plans aligned to Illinois Learning Standards.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction for students.
• Maintain the Teacher Gradebook.
• Participate in MTSS and PBIS processes.
• Continual review of student data (district assessments, local and state testing).
• Collaborate with special education teachers and administration.
• Attend staff and in-service meetings directed by building administration.
• Maintain contact with parents to support student achievement.
• Maintain the professional atmosphere of the school.
• Perform other duties in alignment with job classification as directed by the principal or designee.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Meet the Illinois State Board of Education Standards
• Show evidence of Professional Educator License (PEL) valid in Illinois with appropriate endorsement

Salary/Benefits

Range $49,437.00 – $66,785
