The Waldorf School of the Peninsula in Mountain View is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Middle School Soccer Coach. The role focuses on after-school practices and games, typically 3:30pm–6pm, with overall team management and student safety in mind.

Responsibilities include leading practices, coordinating schedule and communications via Teamsnap, transporting players using school vans as needed, and attending Pre/Post Season Coaches meetings.

Qualifications

• Safety oriented; be trained in CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Previous soccer coaching/playing experience preferred.
• Technically competent with soccer strategies, skills, and rules.
• Strong communication with players, parents, and athletic staff.
• Organized; manage rosters, uniforms, lineups, and scorebook.

The Waldorf School of the Peninsula in Mountain View is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Middle School Soccer Coach.

If you are passionate and devoted to inspiring students through soccer, we welcome you to our Middle school. Practices and games are generally after school around 3:30pm-6pm

The Soccer Coach is responsible for overall management of the volleyball team.

• Run comprehensive and objective driven practices.
• Run high-energy, technically correct, and physically challenging practices
• Able to organize and manage schedule and communication through Teamsnap
• Able to help transport athletes to and from practices/games with our school provided vans
• Able to attend Pre/Post Season Coaches meeting.
• Must have a valid California driver's license to drive the team van.

Qualifications

• Safety Oriented. Ensure the playing environment is safe; be trained in CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Previous Soccer coaching/playing experience is preferred.
• Technically competent. A solid technical knowledge of Soccer strategies, individual skills, and rules of the game.
• Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing, with the players, parents, and the athletic department.
• Organized. Able to manage rosters, uniform distribution and collection, line ups, and scorebook.

Preferred Certificates

• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
• NFHS Concussion in Sport

Must complete DOJ and FBI live-scan fingerprinting prior to the start of service. The position is compensated between $26 - $35 per hour depending on qualifications and duties.
