Irving ISD is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for Houston MS in Irving, TX. The role requires a valid Texas teaching certificate, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to engage students in core science subjects.

Responsibilities include delivering TEA-aligned instruction, using data-driven strategies, and coordinating with SPED staff to adapt curricula. A strong emphasis on technology, classroom management, and collaboration with families is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree is required with a valid Texas teaching certificate for the subject/level assigned.
• ESL Supplemental Certification is preferred.
• Fluency with technology and ability to integrate it into instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by TEA, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use data to plan and implement instructional strategies reflecting student needs (gifted, bilingual/ESL, 504).
• Coordinate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Plan and supervise assignments for aides/volunteers while working with students in class.
