Working Days: 220 days including 9 paid holidays
Hours of Work: 7:00am-3:30pm / Monday-Friday / 30 minute unpaid lunch
Compensation: $18.39/hr. - $25.81/hr. - based on years of experience - Per OAPSE Local #367 negotiated agreement
The Principal's Secretary performs a wide variety of complex secretarial support tasks, communicating information to school district employees, students, parents, and others as required. This person will assist in ensuring compliance of department activities with legal, administrative, and District policy requirements to ensure the smooth, accurate and efficient operation of the office. This position involves confidential tasks supporting the Principal.
The candidate will be responsible for tasks that include general receptionist duties, managing financial requisitions, purchase orders, depositing of checks and cash, budgeting for the middle school, and managing information systems.
This position requires an individual who can demonstrate positive and effective communication, is results-oriented, and possesses a growth-mindset for learning new systems, platforms, and procedures.
