Job summary

Coweta County Schools is seeking a Permanent Substitute for East Coweta Middle School in Senoia, GA. The position is 180-day calendar with a rate of $14.57 per hour, 7.5 hours per day, and includes benefits for the 2026-2027 school year.

The substitute will implement instructional plans and maintain a productive classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Requirements include a minimum high school diploma or equivalent; experience in education preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in education preferred.
• If not Parapro certified, you will pursue Parapro certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in the absence of the regular teacher following lesson plans.
• Meet and instruct all classes and duties normally assigned to the substitute.
• Maintain a conducive learning environment and classroom order.
• Protect students, equipment and facilities; follow school rules.
• Communicate with principal, staff, and parents as needed.
