Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Completed Michigan Tests for Teacher Certification (MTTC) with a passing grade in relevant subject area(s)
• CPI Certification (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Training (Preferred)

Job Description:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and personal hygiene support to a student throughout the day in accordance with his/her individualized education program
• Assist a student with an individualized education program in acquiring the skills necessary to be successful in the general education setting
• Proactively prevent behavior issues by planning, organizing, and exhibiting good work habits
• Maintain student dignity, information, and confidentiality
• Additional duties as assigned by the Principal, and/or designee

Days/Hours:

School Days/ 7:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
