Job Description

• Provide academic, behavioral, and personal hygiene support to the assigned student throughout the school day in strict accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Assist students in acquiring the social, emotional, and academic skills necessary to thrive within the general education setting.
• Mitigate behavioral escalations through strategic planning, environmental organization, and consistent professional habits.
• Maintain the highest standards of student dignity and strict confidentiality regarding medical and educational records.
• Work in close coordination with classroom teachers and the Special Education team to ensure instructional and behavioral strategies are implemented consistently.
• Maintain professional rapport with families, providing necessary feedback communication to ensure a cohesive "home-to-school" support system.

Salary/Benefits

Starting at $17.57/hour; per the PPESPA Agreement under the paraprofessional classification
