Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field is mandatory (no anticipated graduation dates).
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Mastery of high school math concepts and skills.
• Understanding urban education challenges and commitment to student success.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
• Ability to commute to Stafford Springs, CT and navigate a school environment confidently.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of 1–4 middle school students during in-class push-in or pull-out sessions.
• Assist groups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in grades 6–8.
• Take daily attendance and monitor student progress using a personal device.
• Ensure timely arrival and maintain a regular weekly schedule 7:30 AM–1:30 PM.
• Support urban students and contribute to a positive learning environment.
