Qualifications

• Valid NJ Mathematics teaching certificate or eligibility.
• Bachelor's in Mathematics Education or related field; master's preferred.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level.
• Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards and standards-based instruction.
• Ability to analyze assessment data to drive instructional decisions.

Responsibilities

• Rigorous mathematics instruction aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and academically challenging classroom environment.
• Differentiate and scaffold instruction to meet varying achievement levels.
• Utilize formative and summative assessment data to identify student needs and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and other school personnel.
• Participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and professional development.
• Integrate technology and instructional resources to enhance learning.
• Maintain accurate and timely student records, grades, and documentation.
