Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with preferred college coursework.
• Ability to assist instruction in reading, writing and mathematics as directed.
• Familiar with basic classroom and playground safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups under teacher guidance.
• Administer and score tests according to guidelines.
• Perform routine clerical duties to support classroom operations.
• Monitor and report student behavior per procedures.
• Assist with lab work and educational activities as needed.
• Supervise library, playground and lunch activities.
• Assist with attendance records and announcements.
• Support small group instruction and tutoring arrangements.
• Handle minor injuries or illnesses and refer when necessary.
