Job summary

St. George Episcopal School seeks an Assistant Head of Middle School to support growth aligned with our mission. You will work with the Head of Middle School, administrators, teachers, staff and parents to sustain a thriving middle school community rooted in Episcopal values.

You will oversee calendar planning, curriculum development, student support, and advisory programs while promoting positive school culture and collaboration among faculty and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred; experience in educational supervision
• Parish day school experience preferred; strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to relate well to trustees, administrators, teachers, staff, parents and students

Responsibilities

• Coordinate divisions' annual calendar and schedules
• Lead curriculum development and program planning
• Serve as liaison between school and parents; facilitate support services
• Support faculty with instructional strategies and classroom management
• Oversee student disciplinary processes and records; monitor attendance
