Job Description
RESULT STATEMENT: This position is accountable for preparing students and retaining the school's students and families through the implementation of product delivery and inventory control systems in accordance with our marketing message and contractual obligations.
Outcome: Efficient and effective delivery of a quality education to students attending Tucson International Academy (TIA)’s chain of identical schools, ensuring student and family expectations, the company’s mission, and financial standards are met.

Strategic Work:
- Communicate needs and requests with the Team Leader.
- Develop and update systems.
- Assist Principal with determining the technology needs of TIA.
- Participate in the “A-Team” Student Improvement Team.
- Create Class Management Systems and implement daily and consistently.
- Create and implement thematic unit curriculum, documented monthly.
Tactical Work:
- Implement classroom system(s) and document any changes.
- Implement thematic unit curriculum.
- Prepare Lesson Plans for emergency substitutes.
- Plan and document curriculum used for the academic year.
- Attend teacher meetings with the Principal.
- Attend team meetings with the Principal.
- Follow through on accountability requests from the Principal.
- Maintain Grade Book updated at least weekly and update daily Lesson Plan Book one week in advance.
- Maintain class attendance records and notify the principal of interventions, conferences, etc., to increase consistent attendance as necessary.
- Document NSLP orders, ELL/SEI lesson plans and strategies, and Special Education strategies in daily lesson plans with specific information.
- Assist Principal with systems maintenance.
- Help students maintain or exceed grade level standards.

Position Specific:
- Communicate with the Team Leader through completion of TIA’s system of daily reports.
- Develop, document, implement, or evaluate a new or current system at least once a month following the TIA Action Plan template.
- Be prepared and involved to meet expectations in weekly mentoring meetings with the Team Leader.
- Document curriculum by August 15 according to TIA curriculum documentation system.
- Prepare daily classroom lesson plans one week in advance following TIA lesson plan system.
- Achieve grade level scores and/or assessments by 20% or more to meet or exceed state standards.
- Create and implement at least one new classroom system monthly, documenting changes within thirty days.
- Create and implement at least one thematic unit monthly following TIA thematic unit system.
- Prepare lesson plans for emergency substitutes by August 15 following TIA substitute lesson plan system.
- Plan and document curricula used for the academic year by August 15 following TIA curriculum documentation system.
- Follow through on accountability requests from the Team Leader within the provided timeframe.
- Maintain the grade book weekly following TIA grade book system.
- Maintain class attendance and discipline daily following TIA attendance and discipline system.
- Document weekly nutrition, ELL/SEI, and special education information according to provided specifications.
- Assist the Team Leader with TIA systems maintenance monthly.
