Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach English and Language Arts in our middle and high school. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christ-centered education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview while inspiring students academically and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach English and Language Arts classes for middle and high school students, fostering effective communication and a love for literature and writing through a biblical perspective.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, academic standards, and a biblical worldview.
3. Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to encourage spiritual growth and character development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation.
5. Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one.
3. Experience teaching ELA courses to high school students in a classroom setting.
4. Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School.
