Sonoran Science Academy Phoenix is seeking a Middle School English Teacher to educate grades 6–8 based on Arizona Academic Standards. The role emphasizes engaging daily lessons, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction within a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

You will foster a structured classroom, support interdisciplinary learning, and communicate with families and staff. Strong management and passion for teaching are essential for success in this community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 or more years of teaching experience preferred.
• Arizona Department of Education Certification preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative and engaging instructional style with a genuine passion for teaching.
• Collaborative team player with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach English to grades 6–8 using Arizona Academic Standards with engaging, rigorous daily lesson plans.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
• Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support interdisciplinary learning and collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and content areas.

We are seeking a Middle School English Teacher who is passionate about their craft and ready to make a lasting impact in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Your Role Will Include

• Teaching English to grades 6, 7, and 8 using Arizona Academic Standards with engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate daily lesson plans.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay: $56,000 to $65,050 per year.
