Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, with emphasis in English, Science, or Math
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE OR; Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state-approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE with an endorsement in Math, Science, Social Studies, or English Language Arts.
• Must be willing to attend MEERA training upon hire.

Preferred:

• Previous training in Design Thinking methodology, Manufacturing and Engineering Education Reimagined for All program (MEERA), Maker Spaces or Project-Based Learning.

Salary/Benefits

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Starting range: $51,814-$75,437.00
