Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools in Memphis seeks a dedicated Custodian to maintain cleanliness and function of our campuses. The role includes cleaning restrooms, classrooms, and common areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with minor repairs as needed.

The custodian will ensure rooms are prepared for events and maintain building security during shifts, contributing to a safe and orderly school environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year in custodial or similar work.
• Clearance: DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Attendance: Regular attendance as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, classrooms, common areas and offices.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Report repairs and assist with minor maintenance as needed.
• Set up rooms for events and ensure security during shifts.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness to protect staff and students.
