Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across our Memphis campuses. You will perform routine cleaning, restocking, minor repairs, and event setup, while upholding security and building standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in custodial work or similar experience.
• DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance required.
• Regular attendance expected.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Stock supplies and manage waste receptacles.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish surfaces.
• Set up rooms for events and report repairs.
• Maintain security and move furniture as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and maintain equipment.
• Maintain records of work orders and maintenance.
• Operate custodial equipment safely.
