Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator's License in Business, Finance, and Information Technology Education (License Area 760) or another approved CTE licensure area.
• Must meet all North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) requirements for CTE licensure.
• Must maintain a valid North Carolina teaching license throughout employment.
• Successful completion of all district, state, and federal employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans.
• Provide instruction in business, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, career development, and technology applications.
• Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes engagement and achievement.
• Integrate technology and project-based learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Support CTE program initiatives, career development activities, and student organizations.

• Comply with all Board of Education, district, state, and federal requirements.
