Killeen ISD is seeking a Campus Teacher for Middle School/Fine Arts to lead and grow the district’s choir program. You will direct middle school ensembles, organize performances, and mentor assistant directors while aligning with the overall Fine Arts goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a Texas music teaching certificate, with responsibilities including UIL participation, budgeting, and community engagement to foster student involvement in music.

• Texas music teaching certificate required.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsabilités

• Directs middle school choral ensembles.
• Organizes and plans performances with choir and vocal groups.
• Mentors assistant middle school choral directors and coordinates with district program.
• Prepares for UIL contests and auditions.
• Arranges transportation, lodging, and meals for events and ensures supervision.
• Represents the program at meetings of professional organizations.
• Maintains inventory of uniforms and sheet music.
• Coordinates fundraising activities and manages funds as directed by the campus principal.
