Young World Physical Education is seeking an Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the Alden-Hebron School District. This full-time seasonal position involves assisting the Head Cheerleading Coach in the organization and supervision of the volleyball program.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of volleyball.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading practices and games under the direction of the Head Coach.
• Support the academic and personal growth of student-athletes.
• Help develop player skills, conditioning, and sportsmanship.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel.
• Ensure compliance with all school, conference, and IESA rules and guidelines.
• Communicate with students, parents, and school personnel as needed.
• Model and uphold high standards of conduct on and off the court.
• Assist with equipment management and care.
• Promote a positive team environment and school spirit.
• Attend all scheduled games, practices, and team functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or administration.
