Job summary

Mountain Trail MS is seeking a Campus Support staff member to assist with safety and welfare of students. Responsibilities include noon and after-school duty coverage, classroom assistance, crosswalk duty, and various campus tasks.

The role reports to the Building Administrator and requires high school diploma with emphasis on safety, security procedures, and effective communication. 9 months, various shifts, immediate start through 5/27/2027.

Qualifications

• SKILLS required include adhering to safety practices and enforcing rules.
• KNOWLEDGE includes basic math and understanding procedures, safety and traffic laws.
• ABILITY to schedule activities, collate data, and operate equipment in varied settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students for safe access to and from assigned locations.
• Communicate safety policies to students, staff, and visitors.
• Monitor students in classrooms, on playgrounds, field trips, and lunchrooms to maintain safety.
• Refer incidents to appropriate personnel for follow-up per safety guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries from students and parents regarding campus security issues.
• Support classroom teachers to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
