Job summary

Logan City School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant – Behavior at Mount Logan Middle School in Logan, UT. The role provides behavioral, academic, and instructional support to students with diverse needs, helping create a safe, engaging learning environment and reinforcing positive behavior under licensed staff direction.

This part-time, non-exempt position offers 5.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 48 semester college credit hours from an accredited college or university or ParaPro assessment completed, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students individually and in small groups under licensed staff.
• Assist with implementing individualized learning plans and behavior intervention plans.
• Adapt activities and materials to meet individual needs.
• Reinforce academic instruction and behavioral expectations.
• Monitor student progress and communicate findings to staff.
