Job summary

The Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a licensed healthcare professional to serve as Athletic Trainer at the middle school level. You will attend athletic events, provide on-site injury assessment, administer first aid, CPR and AED, and help determine return-to-play or hospital evaluation as needed.

You will document incidents in accordance with district procedures and communicate with coaches, parents/guardians, and school officials to ensure timely and appropriate care for

Qualifications

Licensed nurse or qualified healthcare provider.
Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED use.
Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
Experience working with adolescent athletes preferred.

Responsibilities

Attend school athletic games and events to monitor student-athlete safety.
Provide on-site injury assessment and immediate care.
Administer first aid, CPR, and utilize AED as needed.
Determine whether an athlete may safely return to play, should be sent home, or requires hospital evaluation.
Document incidents and care provided in accordance with school district procedures.
Communicate with coaches, parents/guardians, and school officials regarding athlete injuries and recommendations.
