Job summary

WellSpan Health in Hanover, PA is seeking an Athletic Trainer for the South Western School District to provide athletic training services in designated school settings and at the Health and Surgery Center. This role supports athlete care, prevention, and performance under the supervision of the sports medicine team.

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant experience required.
• Entry-level graduates with BOC certification will be considered.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support upon hire required.
• Graduate CAATES program completion or internship experience required.

Responsibilities

• Covers high school events and oversees on-site treatments and reconditioning for athletes.
• Assists physicians and therapists in care, rehabilitation planning, and documentation.
• Facilitates pre-participation examinations and monitors athlete progress.
• Maintains equipment, records, and supports safety and quality improvement initiatives.
