Job summary

Isaac School District seeks an Assistant Principal for Isaac Middle School (6th-8th). You will report to the Principal and lead instructional initiatives, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with special training in school administration.
• Minimum of three years classroom teaching experience.
• Three years of administrative experience preferred.
• State required administrative certificate.
• Demonstrated administrative and leadership ability.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Bilingual or ESL teaching endorsement preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Experience with diverse populations (ELL, SPED).
• Understanding higher order thinking and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Principal.
• Assist in developing and implementing the school philosophy, recruitment/selection, schedules, and procedures.
• Oversee maintenance and operation responsibilities for the school plant.
• Assist in supervision of instruction, staff evaluation, discipline, recordkeeping, and reports.
• Monitor and support the school improvement plan and student achievement.
• Develop and implement accountability systems.
• Collaborate with admin/leadership teams to intervene for student needs.
• Collaborate with faculty, parents, students, and district to improve the school.
• Facilitate data analysis of formative and summative assessments.
• Coach and collaborate with teachers on assessment results and interventions.
• Analyze data to identify remediation or enrichment needs.
• Support teachers using assessment systems.
• Attend district/site meetings and participate as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
