Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is seeking an Assistant Middle School Girls’ Basketball Coach. The assistant coach will support the head coach in developing and implementing a basketball program that aligns with the school's mission and values. This position requires a strong background in coaching basketball, leadership skills, and a passion for developing student‑athletes both on and off the court. The coach will help foster a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence while mentoring students in character, discipline, and academic balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an assistant middle school girls' basketball coach
• Assist in planning practices that enhance skill development.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor student‑athletes on and off the field.
• Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to promote a positive athletic experience.
• Assist in managing team logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and game‑day operations.
• Availability to begin practices during the Middle School athletic block, starting at 1:40 p.m.
• This position is a non-faculty stipend role unless the candidate qualifies for one of our full‑time positions.
