Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises class activities to stimulate interest and broaden understanding.
• Fosters cooperative social behavior through group projects.
• Prepares for assigned classes and shows evidence of preparation.
• Encourages students to maintain classroom behavior standards.
• Observes students for signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and tracks progress.
• Discusses students' progress with parents.
• Administers diagnostic tests and evaluates progress regularly.
• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Upholds board policies, school rules, and administrative regulations.
• Is available to students and parents outside the instructional day when requested.
• Represents the school and the community in a positive manner.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
