Job summary

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is seeking a Seasonal Site Director for the Middle School After School Program. You will assist in supervision and management, lead activities, engage with staff, students and families, and enforce school rules to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for youth in grades 6–8.

The typical schedule is Mondays–Thursdays 12:30-5:00 pm. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $20.75 per hour, with opportunities for growth within MSCR.

Qualifications

• Training and experience in teaching recreational activities to children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall supervision and management of the after-school program.
• Lead and create activities, engage staff, students and families.
• Enforce school rules and policies; supervise staff; create a welcoming, safe environment for students.
• Lead the program alone when the supervisor is not present.
