Spring Independent School District seeks a Secretary, Assistant Principal for Twin Creeks Middle School in Spring, Texas. The role supports assigned administrators with clerical tasks and coordinating communications with staff, students and families. This is a full-time, nonexempt position.

Starting immediately for the 2026-2027 school year, 207 days per year, pay grade Para 4, min $26,082 and mid $31,646. Requires high school diploma; three+ years secretarial experience preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Required: High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Special knowledge/Skills: Ability to work well with children; communicate effectively; excellent typing; proficient with computers; ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Preferred: Three+ years secretarial experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general secretarial service.
• Compose documents and correspondence to staff, students, parents and the public.
• Evaluate situations and take appropriate action or direct to staff.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws/regulations.
• Assist with monitoring students referred to office for discipline infractions.
• Enter student discipline information and maintain records; disseminate discipline information.
• Assist with scheduling of extra-curricular activities and duties.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as assigned.
